1. Health Disclaimer

1.1 Sauna and cold plunge therapy may pose physical risks, including but not limited to dizziness, cardiovascular stress, dehydration, or aggravation of pre-existing medical conditions.

1.2 All participants must consult a GP or qualified healthcare professional before using the facilities.

1.3 By registering, you confirm that you are medically fit to participate and accept full responsibility for your own health and wellbeing.

1.4 Sauna’n’Soak Ltd and its employees hold no responsibility for any injury, illness, or adverse reaction resulting from the use of its facilities.

2. Assumption of Risk & Waiver of Liability

2.1 By using our services, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with sauna and cold plunge use.

2.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive all rights to bring any claim, legal action, or demand compensation against Sauna’n’Soak Ltd, its directors, or staff.

2.3 You understand that participation is at your own risk and discretion.

2.4 You are responsible for monitoring your own limits and exposure times to both heat and cold.

3. Supervision & Safety

3.1 A member of staff will always be present during operational hours.

3.2 You must follow all safety instructions, signage, and staff guidance.

3.3 Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of your membership without refund.

3.4 Members must not use any sauna or plunge pool under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or controlled substances.

3.5 Anyone suspected of being under the influence will be refused entry or asked to leave immediately, and no refund will be provided.

4. Membership & Payments

4.1 Membership is billed by Direct Debit at £49.99 per month, on a 30-day rolling contract.

4.2 Each membership includes 12 x one-hour sessions per month, which include time to change before and after sessions.

4.3 Members will be notified 10 minutes before session end to allow time to change.

4.4 30 days’ written notice is required to cancel a membership.

4.5 Payments are non-refundable except as specified in Section 10.

5. Code of Conduct

5.1 Respect must be shown to all staff, members, and facilities.

5.2 Abusive, aggressive, or disrespectful behaviour will result in immediate termination of membership without refund.

5.3 Facilities must be used responsibly and left clean after use.

5.4 Any damage caused by misuse will be charged to the responsible member.

5.5 Failure to adhere to these rules may result in a permanent ban from membership.

6. Facility Use & Hygiene

6.1 Each bay contains one sauna and one cold plunge pool.

6.2 Water is changed once daily and treated with salt as a natural alternative to chlorine.

6.3 Members are responsible for gauging their own comfort levels and exposure times in both sauna and cold water.

6.4 If you feel unwell, leave the sauna or plunge pool immediately and notify a staff member.

6.5 Alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited before or during use.

6.6 Members may be refused entry if deemed unfit, unsafe, or under the influence of any substance.

7. Opening Date & Pre-Registration

7.1 Sauna’n’Soak Ltd is not yet open. The planned opening date is 2nd January 2026, subject to demand.

7.2 Payments for pre-registered members will be collected on 28th November 2025, covering January 2026 membership.

7.3 The next payment will be taken on 28th January 2026, covering February 2026 membership, and continue monthly thereafter.

7.4 If the shop does not open as planned, all monies collected will be fully refunded to customers.

8. Personal Belongings

8.1 Members are responsible for their personal belongings.

8.2 Sauna’n’Soak Ltd accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.

9. Refunds & Cancellations

9.1 Refunds will be issued only if Sauna’n’Soak Ltd fails to open or deliver services as promised.

9.2 Members must provide 30 days’ written notice to cancel.

9.3 No refunds are given for unused sessions.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

10.1 Sauna’n’Soak Ltd complies with the UK GDPR and relevant data protection laws.

10.2 Personal data will be used solely for managing memberships, bookings, and communications.

11. Force Majeure & Service Interruptions

11.1 Sauna’n’Soak Ltd shall not be held liable for any delay, suspension, or interruption of service due to causes beyond its reasonable control.

11.2 This includes (but is not limited to): power cuts, electrical faults, mechanical breakdowns, equipment failure, maintenance issues, network outages, industrial action, flooding, fire, pandemics, or any other unforeseen event.

11.3 During such events, Sauna’n’Soak Ltd reserves the right to suspend or restrict access to facilities without issuing refunds or compensation for downtime.

11.4 Where possible, alternative session times may be offered once service resumes.

12. Changes to Terms

12.1 Sauna’n’Soak Ltd reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be published on our website and communicated where appropriate.

13. Governing Law

13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

13.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Acknowledgement

By registering as a member, you confirm that you have:

Sought or will seek medical advice before participation.

Accepted full responsibility for your own health and wellbeing.

Agreed to waive all rights to bring a claim against Sauna’n’Soak Ltd for any injury or loss arising from participation.

Will not use the facilities under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

✍ Sauna’n’Soak Ltd – Member Liability Waiver & Agreement

By registering as a member or booking a session, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. I have read and understood the Sauna’n’Soak Ltd Terms & Conditions.

2. I have consulted, or will consult, my GP before using sauna or cold plunge facilities.

3. I understand that sauna and cold plunge therapy carry inherent risks and that I am participating voluntarily and at my own risk.

4. I release and discharge Sauna’n’Soak Ltd, its directors, staff, and agents from any and all liability for injury, illness, or loss arising from my participation.

5. I will follow all safety instructions and facility rules, and I understand that staff are present for monitoring only, not medical supervision.

6. I will not enter or use the facilities while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances.

7. I agree to treat all staff, members, and facilities with respect. Any breach of the code of conduct may result in termination of my membership without refund.

8. I understand that my membership is a 30-day rolling contract at £49.99 per month, billed via Direct Debit, and that 30 days’ notice is required to cancel.

9. I acknowledge that the business is expected to open on 2nd January 2026 and that any funds collected in advance will be refunded in full if the business does not open.

10. I understand that Sauna’n’Soak Ltd is not responsible for service interruptions caused by electrical faults, maintenance issues, or other events beyond its control (as covered in the Force Majeure clause).
